This research establishes a deep interdisciplinary integration between cutting-edge innovative technologies and scholarly studies in architectural history and heritage conservation. By integrating HBIM, 3D scanning, and artificial intelligence technologies, it develops high-precision digital archives for historic buildings. Furthermore, emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, knowledge graphs, and extended reality (XR) are incorporated to establish a complete closed-loop process from physical documentation and surveying to cultural value interpretation.

The research goes beyond the documentation of historical information and geometric characteristics of buildings, and further investigates their underlying historical development, craftsmanship traditions, community memories, and cultural contexts. By combining the technological rationality of “digital twins” with the humanistic perspective of “cultural interpretation,” this interdisciplinary approach provides a robust data foundation for precise heritage conservation, scientific restoration, and dynamic monitoring. It further advances architectural history research from traditional documentary-based studies toward big-data-driven quantitative analysis and dynamic simulation, fostering a synergistic integration of technological innovation and academic research.
