HBIM and Digital Technologies for Architectural History and Heritage Conservation | 面向建筑史学与遗产保护的 HBIM 与数字化技术

This research deeply integrates cutting-edge innovative technologies with academic studies in architectural history and heritage conservation through an interdisciplinary approach. By combining HBIM, 3D scanning, and artificial intelligence technologies, it establishes high-precision digital archives for historic buildings. Furthermore, emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, knowledge graphs, and extended reality (XR) are introduced to create a complete workflow from physical documentation and surveying to cultural value interpretation.

Rather than focusing solely on the historical information and geometric characteristics of buildings, this research further explores their underlying historical evolution, construction techniques, community memories, and cultural contexts. By integrating the technological rationality of “digital twins” with the humanistic interpretation of “cultural meaning,” this interdisciplinary framework provides robust data support for accurate heritage conservation, scientific restoration, and dynamic monitoring. It also promotes the transformation of architectural history research from traditional documentary analysis toward data-driven quantitative analysis and dynamic simulation, achieving a synergistic integration of technological innovation and scholarly inquiry.
